Robotics & Engineering - Week of 04/07/25
This week consisted of a few different projects inluding the mandated Sumo Robot project for my Robotics & Engineering. I have been neglecting to work on it for a while now, and have mainly been focusing on preparing the robotics team for the competition on May 3rd.
Luckily, my peers have been aiding me in the design and manufacturing process of the Sumo Robot, so I helped out by soldering the PCB Andrew Huang designed

On Wednesday, I prepared the ROV for the pool, and set up a networking switch to allow for multiple computers to be connected to the ROV at once. This makes debugging and piloting much easier and much less clunky.

While doing pool testing, Tim and I attempted to tune the PIDs.
But unfortunately by the end of the testing, we met the unfortunate realization that our gripper system has a fatal flaw: weakness!
